At AABAL Heating & Cooling, we offer a variety of services that include annual maintenance checks, troubleshooting, repairs/replacements, conversions and chimney modifications.
ANNUAL MAINTENANCE CHECKS
In addition to the main appliance, many accessories require annual maintenance as well. It is best to perform maintenance checks while the main appliance is being serviced. Properly serviced equipment will last longer and run more efficiently.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Even with regular maintenance, equipment can still fail. Our basic service charge covers any minor problems. If new parts or major repairs are required to fix the issue, the service charge is applied toward the repair work.
REPAIRS/REPLACEMENTS
Eventually there will come a time you will have to consider to replacing current equipment. Since energy prices continue to increase at high rates, it maybe wise to purchase more energy-efficient equipment as this option is more cost-effective in the long-term.
A significant part of a replacement equipment estimate needs to ensure that the proper size unit is installed initially. The old theory of bigger is better no longer has merit. Equipment is designed to run for a specific amount of time and then not be used for a certain period of time.
New equipment has a lot more safeties and controls than older, out-dated models. For example, an oversized unit will cause those safeties and controls to come on and go off more frequently than how it was originally intended. In addition, fuel prices are significantly higher than when older equipment was installed. For this reason, it is imperative that a load calculation be preformed to accurately quote the proper size of the equipment needed, rather than replacing the new purchase with the same size equipment.
CONVERSIONS
Are you tired of paying for someone else's gas bill? If you have a multi-unit apartment building with only one heating plant then in a sense you are paying for someone else's bill.
Have you ever seen the windows open in your building in the dead of winter because one apartment is too hot while others are complaining it's too cold? The simple solution is individual heat. Give your tenants the privilege of paying their own gas bills. That way if they want to keep their apartment 85 degrees in the dead of winter you are the one who will not suffer. With fuel prices so high, after you pay the mortgage, taxes and gas bill often times your money is depleted. By using the money you save on the gas bill to pay for the conversion, after a few years that investment will pay for itself.
CHIMNEY MODIFICATIONS
Ensuring proper venting of dangerous by-products of combustion is a primary concern for all HVAC (heating, ventilating, and air conditioning) experts. Sometimes when this problem occurs there is a need to modify an existing chimney or utilize equipment that has direct vent capabilities. Either way AABAL Heating & Cooling can help ensure those by-products of combustion vent properly and do not become a safety hazard.
